Stevania Djuric (She/Her)

Founder, President, Head of Operations, Chief Editor

As the founder, president, head of operations, and chief editor, Stevania is the leader of The Justice Gazette balancing many opportunities of this young publishing house. With previous experience as a writing coordinator and her educational background (honours BA in Philosophy) she is more than capable of not only writing articles but editing all articles published by The Justice Gazette.

Personal Statement: I am a first year university students studying philosophy with a focus in political philosophy. I have always fostered a strong sense of personal justice and I have felt that there was a place missing for young adults to express and share their niche views of justice which was my main inspiration for creating The Justice Gazette. In my free time i like to make jewelry and paint to foster my creativity beyond critical thinking.

Maya Noray (She/Her)

Co-Director of Writing, Operations Supervisor

As a Co-Director of Writing, Maya is responsible for managing all of the operations that come with creating, researching, editing and publishing articles. Not only is she responsible for managing the creation of her own articles she is also responsible for supervising the writing of and fostering a sense of justice in writers she oversees the work of.

Personal Statement: As I pursue my Bachelor of Arts in English, my primary focus lies in working with young people and delving into the subject of education. Being a detail-oriented individual, I am dedicated to striving for excellence in everything I do. Kayla (KC) Castro (She/Her)

Co-Director of Art Section, Operations Supervisor

As a Director of our Art Section, KC is responsible for all of the operations that come with creating both justice inspired creative works and writing. KC oversees artists works and interviews artists on the back story and inspiration behind their works writing articles platforming their work based on their personal sense of justice.

Personal Statement: We must find ways to give our lives meaning. We need something to believe in, we need to be curious, we need to be able to cope with not knowing, and with knowing. To think, and create, and to feel. All of these things give us meaning.

Victoria Griffiths (She/Her)

Personal Statement: As a dedicated student pursuing a BA in History and Philosophy, I have developed a passion for seeing how past events shaped the way the world is today. Amber Jia (She/Her)

As a director of our Art Section, Amber is responsible for all of the operations that come with creating both justice inspired creative works and writing. Personal Statement: With a background in visual arts, Amber's fascination with makeup began in 2020. As a creative, she aspires to bend the limits on what visual art can entail and develop makeup as a medium to communicate more than just conventional beauty. She's always looking to learn new techniques and enjoys collaborating with others.
